Druid
Leveling Guide
Do you want a
“Jack of All Trades”-type of World of Warcraft character?
A Druid is perfect for you. Druids are capable of morphing
into many forms by the click of the mouse. They have great
abilities like healing, tanking and DPS which could be of
great advantage especially when leveling. Although being a
Druid connotes being a powerful character, there are still
important concepts that you should bear in
mind.
For the begining of this
Druid leveling guide, the first ten levels for you as a Druid
may seem very simple and basic. The fun appears by the time you
reached level 10.

Being a Druid, you will be
able to get the chance to choose specs like Balance, Feral and
Restoration. However, most of Druid players use the Feral type
for it is the easiest spec to use especially in leveling. Being
a Feral gives you the protection when going solo in the World
of Warcraft. The great advantage of being a Druid is that you
can easily change from one form to another.
If you are a Druid, always
keep in mind that water is of great importance to your
character. Keeping a good supply of water is a need. The amount
of water supply that you will keep would depend on what level
of enemies you are fighting. The amount of water supply needed
and the level of enemies you would fight, I think has direct
relationship. It entails that if you are fighting at higher
level, you should keep a greater supply of water. Waiting for
your mana levels to be regained after a battle can be time
wasting but you need to keep moving forward.
Perfecting the mastery of being a
Druid will take you a lot of time due to different spells and
forms available for you. The answer to this problem lies on
what type of spec you would use. At this point, I recommend the
use of the Feral spec which will enable you to quickly kill
mobs and complete your quests. You should not stop regenerating
the levels of your mana. You can heal yourself if you need to.
You can solo hard quests in Bear form and increase your speed
in a Cat form.
Like other World of Warcraft
characters, you need to choose the appropriate professions for
you. Profession picking is important because certain
professions are not really suitable for a Druid if your purpose
is leveling. One of the best professions is Skinning. To
quickly earn gold, you would as well combine it with Leather
working profession.
In leveling a Druid, you
should also choose the right areas. When I say right areas, I
mean the areas where there are quests, just right amount of
mobs and those easy to trail which will save you from time of
going to and fro.
Lastly, you should only take
experience earning quests. There are such quests which I
considered junk because those really are designed to waste your
time, thus slowing you down on the leveling process. Find
quests which you think are easy to complete but will give you a
lot of experience points which are precursor to leveling your
Druid up in the World of
Warcraft.
