Your tracking ability as a Hunter is far more advanced than other characters which will increase your chances of survival. Having a pet also saves you from wasting the time to play because they can absorb damages for you.

Like any other characters in the World of Warcraft, there are also the downsides of being a hunter. Hunters become very problematic in melee fighting because it is not eligible to have armors until level 40. This is quite a dilemma at low levels of the game, especially for the newbie.

So much for the Hunter class orientation, let us move deeper to the main purpose of this article which is to give you the easy ways on fast leveling of a Hunter. Here are basic principles in leveling a Hunter.

Know Your Beasts

A good hunter must know the art of keeping and taming his pets. To be efficient, you need to have at least 2-3 pets trained. AoE pets, DPS pets and Tank pets are perfect for fast leveling. Bears and turtles are good to use as strong tanks. Wolves on the other hand are effective DPSers and gorillas being an AoE pet.

Become the Ultimate Trapper

Efficient use of traps is also needed in leveling a Hunter. As a Hunter, you must know different types of traps to be used at different situations. For example, Immolation Trap or Freezing trap are both used in elite mob depending on the situation. Slow traps, damage trap or freezing trap- use these traps at specific locations and you will be able to gather large amount of points. However, if worse comes to worse, you might as well use Feign Death.

The Killer Spec of the Hunter

Marksmanship, I think is the best killer spec from the multitude of specs a Hunter possesses. This spec spells an invincible duo in a Hunter and his pet.

Average Gear for Maximum Effectiveness

Gears that you will get at every quest are more than enough to get you through the next levels. You don’t have to waste time searching for gears for it affects the speed of your leveling.

A Hunter's Profession

Choosing the right profession as well as combining it with another profession is also a good choice. Your best bet will be Skinning and Leather working since these will allow you to make armor for your protection. Mining and engineering and mining and skinning are also great combinations.
