WoW Cooking Guide
Cooking is considered a secondary
profession in WOW. It is also an easy way to earn gold in
the World of Warcraft because it can be done by all class
or any race and is usually effective in restoring health.
Just like in the real world, food is a basic need by the
characters in World of Warcraft. This is why choosing
Cooking a profession is very good in earning gold
pieces.
Let's start
this WoW cooking guide. There are instances that occur where
the healers’ mana are running low. Those situations would
require them to buy food to restore their health thus saving
them from mana depletion. When you are in between grinding, you
will also need to cook food for yourself to restore energy to
be used in the future.

Starting
cooking is easy. You would basically need to make fire by flint
and tinder and wood. NPC trainers will assist you in learning
to cook certain foods. Recipes and ingredients are all
available to be bought at the Auction House. A good amount of
gold can be gathered by selling the food that you have cooked
to players that require food especially if they are from
battles and mobs.
How to start
cooking? Basically you need to be able to make fire (flint
& Tinder & wood) get trained to cook by a NPC trainer
& recipes and ingredients like spices can be bought at the
auction house or gained from visiting certain players in-game.
A good amount of Gold can be made as well from selling your
cooked recipes to players that require the food or maybe the
buff that the recipe gives them. Start cooking your butt off to
make your gold. But this is not the best way to make gold.
By the time
that you are talking to NPC characters, spread your eyes on the
items that they have for those items might greatly helping them
to cook rare and expensive recipes. This is an easy way to have
this achievement in terms of cooking.
The release
of the Burning Crusade has pushed Cooking popularity very high.
During the first days of World of Warcraft, cooking as a
profession is underrated.
If you need
new recipes, ask one of your guilds to be on the front row for
hunting new recipe. You may get new recipes as a reward from
quests or from a monster or from a merchant. There are also new
recipes on the Auction House.
New recipes
that could help you level up to 300 without Fishing are Juicy
Bear Burgers and Charred Bear Kebabs. These recipes can be
bought in Felwood from Bale for the Hordes or Malygen for the
Alliance Characters. You should take note that these recipes
will require you to first reach 250 skill to learn. The meats
you will need are from level 48-56 bears.
Of course,
when choosing Cooking as a profession, you need to pair it with
Fishing. These two make a good tango in earning money. Make the
most out of your cooking. Boosting foods can help you restore
health. In addition, selling in demand and new recipes to AH
can maximize your cooking
profits.
